Our Organisation - The Joy Company!
What happened in Huy's backyard?
Sam and I realised that we were so similar in so many ways, and were passionate about the exact same thing in our lives. It just became so clear in our conversation.
Both of us talked about who we are, our school lives, the decisions that we had made, and the realisations that we have both had... the same realisations.
I told Sam about the organisation that I want to start up after I have finished my masters year - The Joy Company.
We both got so excited, because it was very much alligned with her passion in life aswell - development and education of youth.
We talked about how the organisation would work, what it would do, who it would involve, the impact that it would have and go amazingly excited...
It was absolutely crazy!!
We talked about who we wanted to drive it, and what the plan would be specifically to make it happen.
At this stage, Diego came along aswell and wanted to know what all the excitement was about. So we told him, with smiles on faces from ear to ear. t was really hard to hold in the excitement of it all. It was all becoming so clear before our eyes, and so tangible. Something that could happen, and that we could really do if we all put our minds and actions to it.
Diego has his own organisation at the moment exporting wine from Mendosa in Argentina to different cities in Europe. He started up the company with some alumni friends from AIESEC about a year ago.
Diego was listening on the idea for the Joy company, and was asking some key questsions like 'How is it going to be financed, how will it run legally etc?'. Hmmm, I have to confess finance and logistics has never been a strong point for me, so I started thinking... we need a Diego person in the company. Someone with the ability to analyse, and implement, but also has a view of the bigger picture.
Maybe... Diego?
We asked Diego what he thought... hmmm, very very interested..
hmmm... ok... IN!!!
He is going to sit down with Sam and I before IC and write a detailed business plan. We really need him to help us break down all the bigger concepts, and also as he has driven entreprenuerial concepts and ideas in establishing his own wine exporting company... so has the experience and skill that we need.
All of us were getting very excited and eager...
and I have to say, I felt so alive. Finally having people see what I see. Have people passionate about the same thing, and want to drive it aswell..
HOORAY!!!
Watch out for more about the Joy Company developments soon, on this blog!!!
Hugs, Mazzy xoxoxo
