It's a Small World

FUNNY STORY

A few weeks ago I met a guy at a party named Anuj. We started chatting about life, blah, blah and it turns out that he was in AIESEC. Not only that but he was on the Swedish MC team a few years ago.

COOL.

I know an Aussie girl named Silvi, he says.... NO WAY, I say. She is one of the people that first inspired me in AIESEC.

Then I tell him she was also on the Danish MC team, as was I over the last year. NO WAY, he says.

Then he tells me that he was also in Costa Rica on a MC CEED. Really, I say.... Because my good friend Dorys was on the MC in Costa Rica last year.

I have heard of her, he tells me!!

He tells me about a friend who was in Denmark from Phiippines...

MARNIE I say!!! I met her in 2000 at a Philippines conference in Manilla.

So connected through various people, and many countries, we finally meet. How amazing! The world really IS a small place.

INTERNATIONAL PARTY

Linking up with Anuj and Peter (a friend from Hungary) we headed on Friday night to the MOST international party I have attended since I arrived. It was in a suburb called Plateau. SO much fun!!! I met SO many new people... from Slovakia, Hungary, UK, etc.

I will keep going to these parties, I love meeting new people and new cultures!!!!

THANKS ANUJ!!!!
