The US Election - Up Close and Personal.
It is very strange being in the situation where you have more access and information on the US election, than your own national election. But being in North America at this presidential election time, there is no escaping the faces of George Bush, and John Kerry.
Every minute of every day for the last 2 months, some program at some time has been covering the election. I have never seen so much saturation of Television. I mean news programs are one thing, but they are also appearing on the Tonight shows, the day programs, the Dr Phil, the Oprah, the entertainment shows... it is craziness.
Definately an important election for US and the world, and certainly an interesting experience being right in the middle of all of it in North America at the moment.
Eagerly awaiting the final result now...:-)
