It is now Christmas Eve...
... well hours and hours after Australia, it is now officially Christmas eve in Montreal, Canada. It is 1.30am and I am up buzzing with energy from chats on the phone tonight with family and friends. So I can't sleep at the moment, even Tony Bennett singing on TV is not creating a cosy yawny atmosphere.
So I just wanted to celebrate the arrival of my favourite day of the year - Christmas Eve. It is my absolute favourite, and I am looking forward to how it will evolve here in Montreal. I know the morning is going to be crazy with shopping, but the afternoon is when all the fun starts.
It was strange today listening to the family on the phone... I know exactly what is happening in the house, the sounds, the smells, the people.... these things are all Christmas Eve...
But I am also looking forward to today in my world... I know by 6pm tonight, and most defnately after the Christmas Mass, I am going to feel a CRAZY christmas spirit.
Ok, off to bed now I think...so I have the enegy to manage it all!

It's Christmas in Sydney! :-) I'm having a quiet one at home with my family. We had a cooked brunch and now listening to Christmas carols.
