Normalising... Finally
Ok, so it has been a crazy few days.
Desperately exhuasted from Chicago, plagued with illness after coming back to the lovely -15 temperatures of Montreal, emotional from missing people, moving houses so essentially having no home, and returning to the reality at work that not much happened since you left, and you have HUGE amounts of work to do.
But slowly I have adjusted.
I have finally caught up on sleep, moved into my new place, got some medicines, and started to reclaim my life in Montreal.
This is a good feeling - by tomorrow I should be pretty much normal again... albeit with a new passion for what I want to do in life, and intentions of visiting some pretty cool people I met last week.
Last night I had a pretty cool conversation with my roomie, Mimi - about life, about decisions and people. It has definately made me think alot. Thanks babe.
So just about to go to a cafe, get a HUGE hot chocolate and think about what I want to do in the next few months and year after my traineeship finishes....
and you know what, it is a pretty exciting time. To have so many opportunities and ideas, it is just a matter of which one I will do now, and which I will save for later.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Mother O-D-D,
I have finally recovered a measure of restfullness after the conference and am normal enough to blog again. It seems the conference left us in similar positions... questioning our future. We are in the same canoe, though neither knows its destination. Probably somewhere wacky, like a spiny, hot place with a dry kind of wetness that really sticks to your skin. At least they can't take our dignity and the sweet smells of freedom!
I'm wondering how long you will be in montreal as I committed a trip there.
Thanks for your supreme chairness and the inspiration. You've given me new motivation.
O-D-D Junior
Maz,
As Mike said many people find themselves in your boat now, so don't feel like you are alone in questioning the purpose of life. I believe it is skiing :)
Loved the email you sent :) Made me smile from ear to ear. Will call you tomorrow for catch up and major chat.
Love you, Jen x
Two of my faves!!!
ODD Junior - You are the best my friend!!! What a wacko, and I LOVE IT!! You were rightfully acknowledged with the Walnut award at conference, and special mention for the Mazzy Award. Be proud, those are amazing qualities :-)
I know we are in the same canoe, with so many people... its crazy how so many people can be at the same point at one time... but its also cool because it means lots of cool chats, and a groovy support network when taking these decisions.
You are SO coming to Montreal... I am not sure at this stage how much longer I will be here, but try and come before March if you can... that would be the best!!!! I maybe heading out of here around that time to destination.... UNKNOWN! Gotta love the uncertainty of life.
Looking forward to craziness that eventuates when yuo are around :-)
Jen jen, babe so happy the email made you smile.
Definately needing a MAMMA MIA catchup. I will try and give you a buzz tonight.
Guys, maybe I can try and set a weekend aside for a WSC Montreal reunion... and get the AIESECers here to host everyone... it would be awesome hey?!!!
Well back to work... crazy day.
Love and hugs to you both,
Montreal Mazzy xx
