Parlez-vous Francais?

Reading Paulie's blog, I finally got the kick in the butt I needed to learn French. I am pretty ashamed to admit it, but I have not been really focused on this since I arrived - and it was one of my biggest personal objectives coming here, to learn basic level French.

So I now have a goal to learn as much French as I can before I leave, am meeting up with a French friend once a week, doing Bilingual Improv Theatre and sourcing free courses in Montreal.

Oui Oui - It is French for me!!!

Hey Mazz,
Thank you so much for your email! :) Regarding French, that is one of my objectives for my stay here in Brussels! I had already studied it for 5 years.. and I am definitely willing to brush it up!! :) You have to study French, so the next time we meet we can practice it! Btw, my flat mate is Canadian, she was studying in Montreal and she was telling me how much of a fun city it is..
Enjoy it for me,
Maria

Mazzy, I say instead of learning French, you go and learn Chinese. It'll be more useful in the future anyway. ;-)

Maria Babe...

Ah Montreal is awesome, definately. And we SO have to catch up in French when I come and visit in Europe :-)

Sheila my Indiana crazy gal...

As much as I would love to learn Chinese, I am thinking since I am in the biggest french speaking city outside of Paris, French is probably a better bet for now :-)
