Ok, this is going to sound strange but I have finally realised the joy that can be found in buying shoes.
For years I have been a woman of comfort in the foot area. I have shunned fashion. I have shunned any attempt to think about foot fashion. I mean, on limited funds the last thing I ever thought of spending money on was a pair of shoes...
I have long sported THONGS in the foot area (which can be purchased for very cheap) and only lately have looked to more full closed shoes due to the crazy winter climates here that make open toe shoes unpractical to say the least. (And I never thought I would ever say that sentence!)
Yesterday all that changed, and I have now joined the ranks of females who LOVE shoes.
My purchase of my white nordic style business shoes (for the bargain price of $2) really sets off my office outfit. I mean they are the PERFECT accessory!
Oh, how I LOVE being a girl :-)

Hey, cc checking in. I should probably email but I was quickly surfing the blogs and thought I'd stick my head in here... Surprising lack of activity in the last 24 hours Maz, not like you at all :-P I see you were posting erratically earlier too and those pics looks pretty darn cool. Hope the Netherlands saga is turning out for the better. Sorry about the lack of comms; these days I'm just a *little* tied up ;) Settling into a bit of a rhythm with work and once that's sorted I should be able to interact with the world, hahaha. You're right, it's funny not seeing you on MSN any more - I guess the times aren't so good - I only usually jump on when I get home from work, ie 9pm onwards, which by my calculation is around 5am EST...
