Homesick
Sometimes in the weirdest moments I get really really homesick. One of these moments happened last night after I returned from Belgium.
I was watching BBC of all things... a show about a UK family relocating to Australia.
It started and I was transfixed.
This is literally the closest I have gotten to 'home' in almost two and a half years.
It was showing Sydney, and the Northern Beaches, the sounds of Sydney, the sites, even an LJ hooker 'You're the best' realtor!
There was sun, there was surf, there was outside locations, there was a HUGE city again...
I was almost crying.
It was a wake up call... I need to visit home soon, and make some decisions because I must admit life on the Northern Beaches after so much rain does look idealic.
Ahhh homesickness...!

oh, the only thing that helps Peter (my australian friend) in these situations is a vegiemite toast and some tim-tams with coffee...

Try and plan a time to go home..... it is so important! This year I went 4 times to Malta and am so proud of it! Of course this is not your situation..and it can never be due to distance... but seriously..just plan a time and go home..
you will soooooooo energised after that!
Also think at the amazing opportunity you are having....
not sooooo many people in this world had the opportunity to live in 3 different countries (DK, CA and NL).. apart from your home country!
Think positive hon.... and just plan a date to go home!!

I hate vegiemite... can't wait to give it to the Danes and see if they like it.

MARIA: You are so right babe, but sometimes it just hits you. But I am very lucky, and life is wonderful here... but sometimes it sooo just hits you!
