Don't you just hate...

...feeling like you could have been more yourself?

...feeling like you have missed an opportunity?

...feeling like you had a chance for crazy fun and turned it down?

WELL I HATE THIS FEELING.

There is nothing like the feeling that you could have done more with your time than you allowed yourself. This happened last night when for the first time ever I left a social event early... I mean I piked.

I was being responsible, and left so I could sleep before work today.

But as soon as I got on the bus I had this feeling.... Maz, this is not you. You are always one of the last people standing, ever since your first national conference in AIESEC Sydney. Unless exhuasted or ill, why would you leave an event early.

I mean it does not mean that much in the scheme of things, but when you take an action you know is NOT YOU, and yet you are the one doing it - well it gives you reason to pause for reflection.

And that is what has happened.

I got the kick I needed to use and abuse every minute left I have in this city, in this country.

I mean, who knows when I will be back here again... I had better make my time count.
